Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 2-1115
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not to exceed ninety days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
