Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 2-129f
- General election: refers to the election required to be held on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November of each even-numbered year. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

Said levies will be made unless a petition requesting an election upon the proposition of making said levies, signed by electors equal in number to not less than ten percent (10%) of the electors of the county who voted for the secretary of state at the last preceding general election, is filed with the county clerk within thirty (30) days following the last publication of such resolution.
