Neglect or refusal of any officer to furnish the information or perform any other act or duty required of the officer under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 21-2501, 21-2501a, 21-2502, 21-2503 or 21-2504, and amendments thereto, is a class A nonperson misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, the officer shall forfeit the officer’s office.
