Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 22-2711

  • Extradition: The formal process of delivering an accused or convicted person from authorities in one state to authorities in another state.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

K.S.A. 22-2710; penalty. Any officer who shall deliver to the agent for extradition of the demanding state a person in such officer’s custody under the governor’s warrant, in willful disobedience of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 22-2710, and amendments thereto, shall be guilty of a class B nonperson misdemeanor.
