Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 23-2214

  • Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.

(a) An action under this act is a civil action governed by the rules of civil procedure.

(b) Trial of all issues in actions under this act shall be to the court.
