Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 25-4177

  • Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.

Failure to file an affidavit of intent is the intentional failure to file an affidavit as required by Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 25-4173 or 25-4175 or failing to file the reports required by the campaign finance act after a change in intent as required by Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 25-4174 or 25-4176.

Failure to file an affidavit of intent is a class A misdemeanor.
