Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 32-1006

  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

(a) Except as provided by subsection (b), it is lawful for a person to take coyotes in this state at any time if such person holds a valid license to hunt or furharvest, as the case may be. It is lawful for a person to take moles or gophers in this state at any time.

(b) Unless authorized by rules and regulations of the secretary, it is unlawful for any person to take any coyote in this state at any time during the period of time designated by rules and regulations of the secretary as an open season for the hunting or taking of deer by firearm.
