Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 39-1440
- Act: means Kan. See Kansas Statutes 39-1430
- Protective services: means services provided by the state or other governmental agency or any private organizations or individuals which are necessary to prevent abuse, neglect or exploitation. See Kansas Statutes 39-1401
- Secretary: means the secretary for children and families. See Kansas Statutes 39-1430
Subsequent to the authorization for the provision of necessary protective services, the secretary shall initiate a review of each case within 60 days to determine where continuation of, or modification in, the services provided is warranted. A decision to continue the provision of such services shall comply with the consent provisions of this act. Reevaluations of the need for protective services shall be made not less than every six months thereafter.
