Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 44-813
- strike: includes concerted action resulting in: (1) failure to report for duty; (2) the willful absence from one's position; (3) the stoppage of work; or (4) the abstinence in whole or in part from the full, faithful and proper performance of the duties of employment by an agricultural employee, for the purpose of inducing, influencing or coercing a change in the conditions, or compensation, or the rights, privileges or obligations of employment. Except as specifically provided in this act, nothing therein shall be construed so as to interfere with or impede or diminish in any way the right to strike or the right of individuals to work; nor shall anything in this act be so construed as to invade unlawfully the right to freedom of speech.
