Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 47-1102
- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Any person, firm or corporation violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000, by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than 60 days nor more than six months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
