Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 47-123

  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.

Any owner whose livestock shall run at large, in violation of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 47-122 shall be liable to the person injured for all damages resulting therefrom, and the person so damaged shall have a lien on said livestock for the amount of such damages.
