Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 50-203

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

No person, firm, corporation or association that violates any of the provisions of this act shall be permitted by any telegraph or telephone company in the state of Kansas to use its wires or facilities for the transmission of news and news reports within the state of Kansas.
