Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 55-1503
- Carrier: means a common carrier which is certified under Kan. See Kansas Statutes 55-1501
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201
(a) Any carrier transporting on any street or highway of this state any oil or gas field equipment or any crude petroleum oil or any sediment, water or brine produced in association with the production of oil or gas shall be considered to have consented, as a condition of certification, to inspection of the equipment or material being transported when requested by any federal, state, county or city law enforcement officer.
(b) Failure to permit inspection of equipment or materials being transported when required by this section is a class B misdemeanor.
