Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 55-169b

  • Commission: means the state corporation commission. See Kansas Statutes 55-150
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The state corporation commission, with input from the advisory committee on the regulation of oil and gas activities authorized under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 55-153, and amendments thereto, shall adopt or amend such forms and rules and regulations deemed necessary to carry out the provisions of this act. Such rules and regulations shall be promulgated on or before July 1, 2010.
