Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 55-1,108

  • Commission: means the state corporation commission. See Kansas Statutes 55-150
  • Person: means any natural person, partnership, governmental or political subdivision, firm, association, corporation or other legal entity. See Kansas Statutes 55-150

(a) Nothing in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 55-1,101 through 55-1,107 shall be construed, or authorize the commission, to amend any contractual obligations between the person offering gas gathering services and the complainant unless the commission determines, after investigation, notice and hearing, that such contractual obligations are unjust, unreasonable, unjustly discriminatory or unduly preferential and adversely impact the public welfare.

(b) This section shall take effect and be in force on and after July 1, 1997.
