Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 56-1a,604

  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.

In any case not provided for in the Kansas revised limited partnership act, the provisions of the Kansas uniform partnership act (Kan. Stat. Ann. § 56a-101 et seq., and amendments thereto) shall govern.
