Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 58-4121
- Appraisal: A determination of property value.
- Appraiser: means a person who develops and communicates real estate appraisals for real estate-related financial transactions and holds a current valid certification or license issued to such person under the provisions of Kan. See Kansas Statutes 58-4102

A state certified or licensed appraiser shall comply with the 2014-2015 edition of the uniform standards of professional appraisal practice promulgated pursuant to federal law or later versions as established in rules and regulations adopted by the board.
