Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 59-810
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Fiduciary: A trustee, executor, or administrator.
Nothing in this act authorizes any “foreign corporation,” as that term is defined in Kan. Stat. Ann. § 59-1701, to act in any fiduciary capacity except as such foreign corporation is expressly permitted so to act by the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 59-1701.
