Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 60-709

  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

When property is seized on attachment, the court may allow to the officer having charge thereof such amount as will reimburse the officer for his or her expense in taking the property into his or her possession and keeping the same, and such amount will be charged as costs in the action.
