Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 65-6b04
- Physician: means a person licensed to practice medicine and surgery by the state board of healing arts. See Kansas Statutes 65-6b01
- Written informed request: means the request for the prescription of amygdalin (laetrile) and the form for such request established under Kan. See Kansas Statutes 65-6b01
Nothing in this act shall be construed as constituting an endorsement of amygdalin (laetrile) for the treatment of any malignancy, disease, illness or physical condition, and nothing in this act shall be construed as preventing a physician from prescribing amygdalin (laetrile) as a dietary supplement to a patient not suffering from any known malignancy, disease, illness, or physical condition upon execution of the written informed request therefor.
