Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 65-784
- Milk: means the lacteal secretion, practically free from colostrum, obtained by the complete milking of one or more healthy hooved mammals. See Kansas Statutes 65-771
- Milk products: includes those dairy foods made by modifying the federally standardized products listed in this section in accordance with 21 C. See Kansas Statutes 65-771
Nothing in this act pertaining to the manufacture of butter shall apply to farmers or producers of milk and cream when churning milk or cream produced on their own farm into what shall be known as dairy, country or farm butter or to prohibit such producers from making cheese out of milk and cream which are produced on their own farm, when such product is to be used as on-farm retail sales of milk or milk products.
