Kansas Statutes 72-3573. Same; skills for success in school fund
(a) There is hereby established in every district a fund which shall be called the skills for success in school fund, which fund shall consist of all moneys deposited therein or transferred thereto according to law. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, all moneys received by the district pursuant to the skills for success in school program shall be credited to the skills for success in school fund established by this section. The expenses of a district directly attributable to the establishment and maintenance of the district’s plan of interventions shall be paid from the skills for success in school fund.
(b) Any balance remaining in the skills for success in school fund at the end of the budget year shall be carried forward into the skills for success in school fund for succeeding budget years. Such fund shall not be subject to the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 79-2925 through 79-2937, and amendments thereto. In preparing the budget of such school district, the amounts credited to and the amount on hand in the skills for success in school fund, and the amount expended therefrom shall be included in the annual budget for the information of the residents of the school district. Interest earned on the investment of moneys in any such fund shall be credited to that fund.
