Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 72-6492
- board of education: means the board of education of any school district. See Kansas Statutes 72-6486
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- School district: means any unified school district organized and operating under the laws of this state. See Kansas Statutes 72-6486
Every board of education may contract with any other board of education for transportation of students, if such contracts are consistent with Kan. Stat. Ann. § 72-6487. Any board of education of a school district contracting to transport students of any other school district may transport such students and shall have all of the rights and powers granted under Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 72-6488, 72-6489, 72-6490 and 72-6491.
