Except as specifically provided, the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 74-4998b through 74-4998f and amendments thereto shall be part of and supplemental to the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-4901 et seq. and amendments thereto and shall be governed thereby in all respects, including, but not limited to, the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 74-49,123 and amendments thereto.
