The negotiating committee for each proposed project shall have access to the current statements of qualifications of and performance data on the firms listed by the state building advisory commission under Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 75-1253 and all information and evaluations regarding such firms gathered and developed by the secretary of administration, with the advice of the state building advisory commission under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-3783. The negotiating committee shall conduct discussions with each of the firms so listed regarding the anticipated project and then shall select a single firm therefrom.
