The board of trustees of the Kansas public employees retirement system shall report to the governor and to the legislature on the moneys credited to the senior services trust fund and investment earnings thereon at least once each calendar quarter and on a monthly basis upon request of the governor, the president of the senate or the speaker of the house of representatives. The director of the budget and the governor shall use the information in such reports in the preparation of the governor’s budget report under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-3721, and amendments thereto.
