The land, tenements and appurtenances used by the Mother Bickerdyke annex near the city of Ellsworth in Ellsworth county and described as the southwest quarter (SW 1/4) of section twenty-nine (29) township fifteen (15) range eight (8), except the portion thereof used for cemetery purposes, the title to which is not vested in the state of Kansas, and all personal property belonging to and being used by said Mother Bickerdyke annex which has not been transferred to the Kansas soldiers’ home under section 5 [*] of this act, are hereby placed under the control of the state board of social welfare, as of August 1, 1951, to be used as a hospital for aged persons who are chronically ill, under such rules and regulations as the state board of social welfare shall prescribe. Said institution shall be known as the “Ellsworth home for aged.”
