Within the limitations of appropriations available therefor, state educational institutions may purchase accident and health insurance for students participating in women’s intercollegiate athletics. As used in this section, “state educational institution” has the meaning ascribed thereto by Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 76-711 and amendments thereto.
