(a) The compact relating to cigarette and tobacco sales, taxation and escrow collection between the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas and the state of Kansas submitted by the governor to the senate and house of representatives of the state of Kansas and received and printed in the journal of the senate and the journal of the house of representatives on January 27, 2017, is hereby approved and adopted by reference as the law of this state.
(b) The secretary of the senate is directed to send a copy of such compact to the secretary of state. The secretary of state shall cause such compact to be published in the Kansas register.
