Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 79-337

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Mobile home: means a structure which:

    (1) Is transportable in one or more sections which, in the traveling mode, is 8 body feet or more in width and 36 body feet or more in length and is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling, with or without a permanent foundation, when connected to the required utilities, and includes the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical systems contained therein; and

    (2) is not subject to the federal manufactured home construction and safety standards established pursuant to 42 U. See Kansas Statutes 77-201

The owner, lessee or operator of any mobile home park or the owner of any land which is not used as a mobile home park but where one or more mobile homes or manufactured homes are located who shall willfully and knowingly fail to submit a list of mobile homes or manufactured homes located or parked within such owner’s, lessee’s or operator’s park or court in compliance with the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 79-336, and amendments thereto, shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished in the manner provided by law.
