Except as otherwise specifically provided in this act, the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 80-1905, 80-1906, 80-1907, 80-1909 and 80-1910, or acts amendatory thereof, shall apply to townships which adopt the provisions of this act and establish fire departments thereunder and also to the township.
