Any trust company authorized to receive deposits under Kan. Stat. Ann. § 17-2025, prior to its repeal, shall be issued a certificate of authority by the commissioner upon surrendering such trust company’s charter and complying with the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 9-804, and amendments thereto, and shall thereafter be subject to all of the requirements, limitations and terms of the state banking code.
