Terms Used In Kansas Statutes > Chapter 59 > Article 33 - Informal Administration Act

  • Appraisal: A determination of property value.
  • Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
  • Decedent: A deceased person.
  • Fiduciary: A trustee, executor, or administrator.
  • Law of descent: The State statutes that specify how a deceased person
