The efforts of the department shall be directed to the promotion of the interests of agriculture and horticulture.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 246.020
- Agriculture: means the business of raising or producing:
(a) Crops, the products of which are used for food, feed, fiber, energy, or pharmaceuticals. See Kentucky Statutes 246.010 - Department: means the Department of Agriculture. See Kentucky Statutes 246.010
- Horticulture: means the business of raising fruits, nuts, vegetables, flowers, ornamental plants, shrubs, trees, herbs, and the starts or transplants needed to produce these items. See Kentucky Statutes 246.010
