(1) The inspectors employed under KRS § 248.300 shall carry out a general inspection service of all warehouses and shall strictly enforce KRS § 248.280 to KRS § 248.440.
(2) An inspector employed by the department may:
(a) Reweigh any reasonable amount of tobacco that has been received by the tobacco warehouse.
(b) Determine the weight of all containers and devices used in the transport for the purpose of weighing tobacco on the warehouse floor and establish a weight tare for each warehouse.

- Department: means the Department of Agriculture. See Kentucky Statutes 248.010
- Warehouse: means any tobacco warehouse operating as a place of sale for tobacco in this state. See Kentucky Statutes 248.010
