The owner shall, before indemnities are paid, thoroughly clean and disinfect the premises and any animal that has been exposed to infection, as the board, or its authorized agent, may determine. The disinfection shall be done at the expense of the owner and under the supervision of the board or its authorized agent.

- Animal: includes every warm-blooded living creature except a human being. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
- Board: means the Board of Agriculture. See Kentucky Statutes 257.010
- Owner: means any person owning or leasing from another, or having in charge any domestic animal. See Kentucky Statutes 257.010
- Premises: means any portion of land, or any structure erected on land. See Kentucky Statutes 257.010
