Kentucky Statutes 304.17A-732 – Annual reports on providers prescribing medication for addiction treatment

(1) As used in this section:
(a) “Kentucky Board of Nursing” means the board established in KRS § 314.121;
and
(b) “State Board of Medical Licensure” means the board established in KRS
311.530.
(2) For all claims made during the preceding plan year, an insurer shall annually report to the commissioner the number and type of providers that have prescribed medication for addiction treatment to its insureds:
(a) In conjunction with behavioral therapy; and
(b) Not in conjunction with behavioral therapy.
(3) The commissioner shall submit an annual written report, which shall include an executive summary, on the information reported under subsection (2) of this section to:
(a) The General Assembly;
(b) The State Board of Medical Licensure; and
(c) The Kentucky Board of Nursing.

- State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
- Treatment: when used in a criminal justice context, means targeted interventions
that focus on criminal risk factors in order to reduce the likelihood of criminal behavior. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010 - Year: means calendar year. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
and
(b) “State Board of Medical Licensure” means the board established in KRS
311.530.
