The commissioner in his or her sole discretion may institute proceedings under KRS
304.33-110 or 304.33-120 at the request of the commissioner or other appropriate official of the domiciliary state of any foreign or alien insurer having property located in this state.

  • Foreign: when applied to a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, business trust, statutory trust, or limited liability company, includes all those incorporated or formed by authority of any other state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
