Legislative Research Commission Note (7/14/2022). In codification, a correction has been made to subsection (1) of this statute. 2022 House Bill 350, which created this statute, included a definition of “provided-sponsored integrated health delivery network”. However, it is clear from the context and from the reference to the definition of “provider-sponsored integrated health delivery network” found in KRS
304.17-005 that the defined term in subsection (1) of this statute was intended to read
“provider-sponsored integrated health delivery network”. Under the authority of KRS
7.136, the Reviser of Statutes has corrected this manifest typographical error.
(2) A provider-sponsored integrated health delivery network may elect to convert to a health maintenance organization under KRS § 304.38-070(5) by filing an election to convert with the commissioner that contains a notification of the network’s effective date of conversion.
