(1) When an arrearage has accrued that is equal to the amount of support payable for one (1) month on court-ordered or administratively-determined child support, which was set prior to July 15, 1988, the Office of the Attorney General may use judicial or administrative remedies to enforce the support obligation without the necessity of any action by a hearing officer.
(2) In cases where the obligor has not requested a dispute hearing, action to collect the debt may be taken twenty (20) days after the obligor’s receipt of the notice of support obligation or his refusal to accept the notice.
