(1) To accomplish the work of the Commonwealth Office of Technology, all organizational units and administrative bodies, as defined in KRS § 12.010, and all members of the state postsecondary education system, as defined in KRS § 164.001, shall furnish the Commonwealth Office of Technology necessary assistance, resources, information, records, and advice as required.

186A.285 shall not be construed to grant any authority over the judicial or legislative branches of state government, or agencies thereof, to the Commonwealth Office of Technology.
(3) The information, technology, personnel, agency resources, and confidential records of the Kentucky Retirement Systems, the County Employees Retirement System, the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority, and the Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System shall be excluded from the provisions of KRS § 42.720 to KRS § 42.742, 45.253,
171.420, 186A.040, and 186A.285 and shall not be under the authority of the
Commonwealth Office of Technology.
