As used in this chapter:
(1) “Abuse” has the same meaning as in KRS § 508.090;
(2) “Criminal homicide” means that a person is guilty of causing the death of another human being under circumstances which constitute murder, manslaughter in the first degree, manslaughter in the second degree, or reckless homicide; and
(3) “Physically helpless” and “mentally helpless” have the same meaning as in KRS
508.090.

Legislative Research Commission Note (6/24/2015). 2015 Ky. Acts ch. 64, sec. 3 provides that the amendments to this statute and KRS § 507.030 made in 2015 Ky. Acts ch. 64, secs. 1 and 2 may be cited as “Conner’s Law.”
