KRS 99.780 to 99.855 shall not apply if the property owner has vacated the property in order to perform military service in time of war, armed conflict, or in order to assist with relief efforts during a declared federal or state emergency as a member of the United States Armed Forces or its Reserve component.

- Owner: when applied to any animal, means any person having a property interest in such animal. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
