Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
Month: means calendar month. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
Owner: when applied to any animal, means any person having a property interest in such animal. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
Personal property: All property that is not real property.
Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
