The following organizational units and administrative bodies shall be attached to the
Office of the Governor:
(1) Council on Postsecondary Education; (2) Department of Military Affairs;
(3) Department for Local Government;
(4) Kentucky Commission on Human Rights; (5) Kentucky Commission on Women;
(6) Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs; (7) Office of Minority Empowerment;
(a) The Martin Luther King Commission; (8) Office of Homeland Security; and
(9) Kentucky Communications Network Authority.

Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2012). 2012 Ky. Acts ch. 158, sec. 84,
instructs the Reviser of Statutes to correct statutory references to agencies and officers affected by the Act, as it confirms the reorganization of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services within the executive branch, including the transfer of the Governor’s Council on Wellness and Physical Activity from the Office of the Governor to the Department for Public Health. Such a correction has been made in this statute.

- branch budget: means an enactment by the General Assembly which provides appropriations and establishes fiscal policies and conditions for the biennial financial plan for the judicial branch, the legislative branch, and the executive branch, which shall include a separate budget bill for the Transportation Cabinet.
