To provide loan insurance pursuant to KRS § 154.20-040 and KRS § 154.20-045, the authority may enter into a contract of insurance. The Kentucky Insurance Code shall not apply to the insurance contract, and the authority shall not be considered an insurer subject to the Kentucky Insurance Code by virtue of entering into the contract.
