If there is any default in the payment of principal or interest of any bond, any court having jurisdiction of the action may appoint a receiver to administer the airport facilities on behalf of the air board, governmental unit or the Commonwealth with power to charge and collect rates, charges and fees sufficient to provide for the payment of any bonds or obligations outstanding against the airport facilities, and for the payment of operating expenses, and to apply the income and revenue in conformity with KRS § 183.630 to
183.740.

- Action: includes all proceedings in any court of this state. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
- governmental unit: means any city, or the combination of any two (2) or more thereof, or any county, urban-county government, or combination of two (2) or more such counties, city or cities, acting jointly with any county or counties or an airboard or board established as provided in this chapter. See Kentucky Statutes 183.012
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
