Whenever state funds are used or sought to be used, all governmental units in this state, whether acting alone or jointly with another governmental unit or with the United States government or with the state, shall comply with the terms of KRS § 183.763 to KRS § 183.772 and all rules and regulations adopted thereunder, and secure the approval of the cabinet.

Terms Used In Kentucky Statutes 183.769

  • governmental unit: means any city, or the combination of any two (2) or more thereof, or any county, urban-county government, or combination of two (2) or more such counties, city or cities, acting jointly with any county or counties or an airboard or board established as provided in this chapter. See Kentucky Statutes 183.012
  • State: when applied to a part of the United States, includes territories, outlying possessions, and the District of Columbia. See Kentucky Statutes 446.010
  • this state: means the Commonwealth of Kentucky. See Kentucky Statutes 183.012
