(1) A health care provider or health facility shall make hyperbaric oxygen therapy available to an eligible patient who has requested it pursuant to KRS § 217.930 to
217.942.
(a) Provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy without receiving compensation; or
(b) Require an eligible patient to pay the costs of or the costs associated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Legislative Research Commission Note (7/14/2018). 2018 Ky. Acts ch. 14, sec. 8, provides that 2018 Ky. Acts ch. 14 may be known as the “Colonel Ron Ray Veterans Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act.” This statute was created in Section 2 of that Act.

(2) The health care provider or health facility may:

(b) Require an eligible patient to pay the costs of or the costs associated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
