No person under the age of twenty-one (21) may redeem a gift card or any portion of a gift card for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. A person holding a license under KRS
243.030 or 243.040 may redeem a gift card for the purchase of alcoholic beverages if the person presenting the card is twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
